JE Designs unveiled its freshly tuned 440-hp Volkswagen Touareg hybrid on Friday. The German tuning company boosted the Touareg’s output from 380 hp to 440 hp by optimizing the management of the 3.0-liter engine. The hybrid’s electric motor remains untouched.
Subaru showed two other concepts alongside the Levorg at the Tokyo Motor Show – both of which are interesting, neither of which came with very much information. The Subaru Viziv Evolution proposes a three-motor hybrid all-wheel drive system, similar to that under development by Honda, while the Subaru Cross Sport Design concept appears to be nothing less than a shooting brake estate version of the BRZ. This is the facelifted Skoda Yeti, brought bang up to date with the current Skoda design theme thanks to front and rear styling tweak as well as a restructured model range. It’s a straight-edged, angular redesign, but we can’t help thinking that binning the old car’s bulbous grille and charming foglights has robbed the Yeti of its cheeky character. What has actually changed for the 2013 Skoda Yeti?
